A Slow Start

I thought that starting a blog would be a good idea as I've always got an awful lot to say for myself but the fact is that I like somebody to bounce off. I'm not one of lifes 'thinkers'. Coming up with thoughts to write down is far more difficult for me than chatting to somebody. I have lots of random and bizarre (perhaps even illegal?) thoughts during the day but do I post them individually or do I gather them all together into a daily diary? Do I post them all or do I subject myself to a form of self-editing... maybe self-censorship? Of course I'll need to do the latter... what's the typing equivalent of biting your tongue?

First Post

This is my first post on Blogspot. I don't really have very much to say for myself but thought I'd take this opportunity to get started as Lizzie (the wife) is busy chatting on the phone and told me to go away.

I'm not sure whether I need to introduce myself as I'm pretty convined that nobody will ever read this so just incase I forget who I am this might remind me that I'm a young athletic male from Edinburgh in Scotland. I've a keen interest in any active pursuit and experimenting with gourmet cooking. I love anything outdoors and love to spend many a long afternoon maintaining the garden. My daily routine mainly involves getting up at around 5am for a jog to the gym where I do a cardio work out for around 30 mins followed by toning for another 30 mins. For breakfast I usually eat museli after which I get ready for work. I always get accused of spending far too much time tweaking my personal appearance in front of the mirror... but I always think it's important to look my best for Lizzie.

I better go now as I need to pick some lettuce and tomatoes from the garden as I'm making a nice salad for lunch.
